Online Coaching

Maybe you’ve tried ‘all the different diets’ out there…

Maybe you’ve hopped from one gym to another, or found yourself going through phases of super strict, versus ‘out the window’.

Maybe you’ve read all the books, listened to all the podcasts, and you KNOW exactly what you should be doing, but you just don’t do it….

There’s a mental block there around something and you just can’t seem to overcome it.

When we work together, we will identify why you are struggling to maintain consistency with diet and fitness AND while doing so, set you up with a plan that you can stick to.

What’s different about working with Lauren?

Not only am I qualified to provide you with safe, evidence based, and effective training and nutrition advice

But based on my personal experience AND my years of coaching clients, I understand the importance of shifting your mindset around fitness and nutrition first and foremost.

Rather than working as hard as you can to try and change your body because you feel unhappy about it, we work on improving your relationship with food, exercise and your body so that you don’t fall into the trap of yo-yo dieting, and black and white thinking.

I am also more concerned about your overall physical and mental health rather than just your waistline.

You can expect to gain a deep understanding of what works best for your body, that makes consistency easy and enjoyable.

You can expect to tap into a stronger, fitter and more badass version of you.

You can expect to reach your body composition goals (weight loss, muscle gain or re-comp), without sacrificing your sanity.

You can expect better energy levels, better digestion, better immunity and that all round GLOW.

  • Lauren helped me build confidence in trying something new since I haven’t done weight lifting before. She also helped me build a routine with home workouts which I really enjoy. Her sessions and home workouts are really awesome and well chosen after my goals. Lauren is really motivating and always happy to answer all my questions!

    Lucie B,

  • Lauren helped me with getting out of the 'zero or a hundred percent' mindset when it comes to working out and eating healthier. Lauren made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I felt like Lauren actually listened to me and where I was coming from and helped me come up with goals that are actually attainable.

  • I never thought I could do even HALF the things I did while working with Lauren. I was even excited for my training sessions which is really not something I normally feel. I felt extremely comfortable and understood. Lauren’s attitude towards training and her kindness sets her apart. She’s also just a really nice person and she explains stuff without judgement.

  • I was seeking someone to ensure I did exercise, but also I wanted to be strong and capable mentally and physically. Working with Lauren has been just that, and I’ve been recommending her to everybody!

Why online coaching?

Tailored to fit YOU

Your goals, your unique health history, your injuries and niggles, your schedule, your choice of gym (home gym, commercial gym, bodyweight), your training background.

You’re getting what you CAN’T find by going to group classes, or by asking Chat GPT to create you a workout plan, or by paying an influencer to get their routine.

You’re getting all round health coaching to help you unlock your potential in the way that makes the most sense for you.

Results like you never knew possible

Hiring a coach means you’re getting accountability as well as a plan, but it’s not just that. It’s having someone who is able to see what your sticking points are, notice where you’re struggling and understand your biggest challenges - to help you work around them.

You’re less likely to give up when you’ve got someone in your corner.

You work harder

PT sessions can be great, and group classes can be great too - but they’re limited to a specific time frame, meaning you might not actually be working as hard as you need to be within that time frame to get the results you’re looking for.

By the time you’ve done your warm-up, and had a good chit-chat - you’re probably losing 15-20 minutes of your session not doing actual exercise. This isn’t your PT’s fault (or yours), but when you have the autonomy to do things on your terms - you may find you actually get a lot more done than in a class or PT session.

Flexible to YOUR schedule

Going away on holiday? Not a problem.

Don’t live in the area? Doesn’t make a difference.

Busy mum trying to juggle kids, work and chores - with barely any time for anything else? I’ve got you.

The benefit of online coaching as opposed to in-person is that you can do your workouts wherever, whenever.

No more guess work

Stop randomly Google-ing all the questions you have only to get a million different answers with opposing points of view. Start asking your experienced, qualified coach to get answers and solutions that actually make sense.

When you hit a wall, instead of panicking and giving up - we’ll talk through it together and make sure you’re always prepared for any scenario that may happen.

It’s cheaper than PT

If the cost of hiring a PT is putting you off, definitely consider online coaching.

In terms of bang for your buck, you’re potentially getting more than what a typical personal trainer is offering you (trust me, I’ve been in the industry long enough to see it). A standard PT might give you basic nutrition advice and set goals with you at the beginning, but likely isn’t giving you a customised training plan for your training outside of the gym, ongoing check-ins, goal sessions and additional resources.

The real results don’t happen during the session, they happen outside of it- and that’s where online coaching provides much more value than PT sessions.

What do you get with coaching with Lauren?

  • As an Associate Registered Nutritionist (NZNS), my main passion and skill set is helping people find a way of eating that helps them improve their health and achieve their goals in a personalised and sustainable way. I support healthy and sustainable weight loss, muscle gain and recovering from disordered eating patterns to rebuild your relationship with food and improve your overall health.

  • I’ve been a personal trainer for over 7 years, and a strength training enthusiast for even longer. I’m also a qualified strength coach and yoga teacher. I love helping people amaze themselves with how strong they can get, whilst prioritising technique and safety. You will get a tailored exercise program that suits your goals - whether that is strength, endurance, flexibility - or all of the above. Your program will be given to you in an app for you to track and record your own workouts, and you can send videos to me of your technique for me to monitor your form.

  • I am qualified to give you feedback on any recent blood work you have had done OR request specific blood tests for you, and prescribe practitioner range supplements should you need additional support for your overall health goals. If you really want to optimise your health all round, it’s a great idea to stay on top of your blood work to make sure that there aren’t any underlying health concerns going unnoticed.

  • Our coaching relationship is a series of ongoing conversations - digging into why you struggle to stay on top of your health goals, unpacking where your beliefs around health and fitness have come from, challenging you to overcome limiting beliefs and inspiring you to overcome barriers not only in the gym, but in your life as well.

  • 24/7 support through messaging - any time you have a question or query, you are invited to contact me.

Weekly check-ins - every week you will complete a check-in form and I will respond to you.

Monthly video calls- once a month we’ll review how you’re going and set new goals for the month ahead.

Tools and resources to help you with your specific challenges - PDFs I’ve made, podcast episodes that might be helpful for you, links to anything that seems relevant, etc.

All of this for the investment of $90 NZD/week
